Green  LED  does  not  light  up 

Ha ve  you  c hec ked   whether: 



The  m a in  switc h  for  the  p ower  sup p ly  to  the  a p a rt-

m ent  or  hom e  ha s  b een  turned   off; 



The  p lug   is  p rop erly  inserted   in  the  outlet; 



The  outlet  is  a d eq ua te;  try  inserting   the  p lug   into  a n-

other  outlet  in  the  room . 

The  refrigera tor  a nd  the  freezer  do  not  cool  properly. 

Ha ve  you  c hec ked   whether: 



The  d oors  d o  not  c lose  well  or  the  sea ls  a re  fa ulty; 



The  d oors  a re  left  op en  too  long ; 



The  therm osta t  knob   is  not  on  the  p rop er  setting ; 



The  refrig era tor  or  freezer  is  overfilled . 

The  food  in  the  refrigera tor  becomes  too  cold. 

Ha ve  you  c hec ked   whether: 



The  therm osta t  knob   is  on  the  p rop er  setting ; 



The  food   is  in  c onta c t  with  the  b a c k  wa ll  -  whic h  is 

the  c old est  p a rt. 

The  motor  runs  continuously. 

Ha ve  you  c hec ked   whether 



The  d oors  a re  not  c losed   well  or  ha ve  rem a ined  

op en  too  long ; 



The  a m b ient  tem p era ture  is  too  hig h; 



The  therm osta t  knob   is  not  on  the  p rop er  setting .

The  a pplia nce  ma kes  too  much  noise. 

The  g a s  refrig era nt  prod uc es  a   slig ht  noise  even  when  the 

c om p ressor  is  not  running   (this  is  not  a   d efec t). 

Ha ve  you  c hec ked   whether: 



The  refrig era tor  is  levell. 



The  a p p lia nc e  wa s  insta lled   b etween  c a b inets  or  ob -

jec ts  tha t  vib ra te  a nd   m a ke  noise. 

There  is  wa ter  on  the  bottom  of  the  refrigera tor. 

Ha ve  you  c hec ked   whether: 



The  hole  for  d ra ining   the  wa ter  from   the  frost  is 

c log g ed   (see  fig .  1). 

If  a fter  a ll  the  c hec ks,  the  a p p lia nc e  still  d oes  not  op era te 

or  the  p rob lem   p ersists,  c a ll  the  nea rest  Servic e  Centre 

a nd   inform   them   of:  the  typ e  of  p rob lem ,  the  a b b revia tion 

of  the  m od el  na m e  (Mod .)  a nd   the  rela tive  num b ers  (S/N) 

written  on  the  ra ting   p la te  loc a ted   a t  the  b ottom   left  next 

to  the  veg eta b le  c risp er  (see  exa m p les  in  the  fig ures  b e-

low).

fuse  spa re  pa rts,  which  a re  not  origina ls.

the  a p p lia nc e.  This  sp ec ia l  sound   when  the 

therm oreg ula tor  a nd   c om p ressor  a re  turned   on  is  a  

norm a l  sta te,  whic h  a p p ea rs  d uring   the  working 

p roc ess  of  the  a p p lia nc e’s  elec tric   insta lla tion. 

-    After  som e  tim e  the  c olor  of  ind ic a tor  la m p   c a n  b e 

c ha ng ed   a nd   c olor  d ep th  c a n  b e  d ec rea sed ,  it 

should   b e  c onsid ered   a s  na tura l  p roc ess  a nd   you 

should n’t  worry  a b out  it. 

-  Rep la c ing   the  la m p .  The  la m p   for  lig hting   the 

interior  of  the  a p p lia nc e  is  loc a ted   a t  the  b a c k  of  the 

la m p   b ox.  Unsc rew  the  b urnt  la m p   a nd   rep la c e  it 

with  a nother  la m p   of  no  m ore  tha n  15  Wa tt,  follow 

the  instruc tions  illustra ted   in  fig .  3
