    8. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE 

Careful maintenance is a guarantee for correct operation and good performance of the appliance in time.

WARNING

: 

Whenever working on the hood for internal cleaning 

or  other  interventions,

make  sure  it  is  disconnected  from  the 

mains. For this purpose, the connection plug must be accessible.

When  cleaning  a  surface  with  a  recommended  new  product  (that  is  not  a  Pando  brand),  you  should  test  the 
product  on  a  small  and discrete  or  non-critical  area,  to make  sure that the result  is  the  same  as the  original, 
and that it does not damage the metal. 
 
It the article has polished finish with directional grain, it should be cleaned in the same direction as the grain, 
and not transversally. 
 
To  avoid  water  stains,  it  is  recommended  to  rinse  with  clean  water,  as  well  as  to  use  good  quality  drinking 
water. Drying marks can also be avoided by using an air blower or wiping with a clean disposable cloth.

Clean with neutral soap and a soft cloth and rinse with clean hot water (soft water). 
 

2. 

Rinse with a wrung soft cloth, using clean cold water. 

3. 

Dry with a soft clean cloth, do not leave parts or deposits in joints without drying.

Apply 

Inox  Pando

“Cleaner  Polisher  and  Protector” 

with  a  clean  soft  cloth  or  white  soft  kitchen 

paper. 

If  the  cleaning  and  filter  changing  are  not  done  with  the  recommended  frequency  it  may  affect  the  correct 
operation of the hood and there could be a risk of fire.

Regular maintenance and cleaning of the filters will maintain the inside of the hood better and for a longer time, 
obtaining  greater  performance  and  durability.  It  is  recommended  to  carry  out  a  cleaning  of  the  inside  of  the 
hood regularly depending on usage. We recommend that this be done by qualified professional personnel such 
as Pando official technical service, as according to the model, accessibility is difficult or there could be a risk 
of damage or harm, consult with the manufacturer beforehand. This maintenance operation is not covered by 
the guarantee.
