PERSONAL SCALE
This  model  of  scale  uses  bioelectric  body  total  resis-
tance (impedance) analysis «BIA», which provides highly 
accurate  calculating  of  percentage  of  fat  and  water  in 
human body based on personal data (height, age, sex) 
inputted into the unit memory.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR CUSTOMER
AT TENTION!
Before  using  the  unit,  read  this  instruction  carefully. 
Keep this instruction for future reference.
Use the unit according to its intended purpose only, as 
it is stated in this user manual. Mishandling the unit can 
lead to its breakage and cause harm to the user or dam-
age to his/her property.

PRECAUTIONS

• 

Using  the  excess  weight  analysis  function  is 
TOTALLY contraindicated to pregnant women.

• 

Using  the  excess  weight  analysis  function  is 
TOTALLY contraindicated to people using pace-
makers  and  other  medical  devices  with  built-in 
batteries.

• 

Handle  your  scale  with  care,  as  it  is  a  precision 
instrument,  do  not  subject  the  scale  to  high  or  low 
temperatures,  high  humidity,  avoid  direct  sunlight 
and do not drop the unit.

• 

Use the scale away from heating units.

• 

Avoid  getting  of  liquids  into  the  scale  body  and  the 
remote receiver, this appliance is not waterproof. Do 
not leave or use the scale and the remote receiver in 
a  room  with  high  humidity  (above  80%),  make  sure 
that  the  scale  body  and  the  remote  receiver  do  not 
come into contact with water or other liquids, as this 
may cause failure of scale indication or its damage.

Place the scale on a flat, dry and non-slip surface.

• 

To  increase  the  indication  precision  do  not  use  the 
scale on carpets or rugs.

• 

Do not step on the scale with wet feet or if the scale 
surface is damp. You can slip and get injured.

• 

Be  careful  while  stepping  on  the  scale:  step  on  the 
scale first with one foot; make sure that the scale is 
steady and then step on it with both feet.

• 

Step  on  the  scale  and  dispose  your  weight  evenly. 
Stand still while weighing. Do not jump on the scale.

• 

If  you  are  not  planning  to  use  the  scale  for  a  long 
time,  remove  the  battery  from  the  scale  battery 
compartment and the remote receiver.

• 

Strictly follow the polarity according to the markings 
when installing batteries.

• 

Replace the batteries in time.

• 

Never allow children to use the scale as a toy.

• 

For  children  safety  reasons  do  not  leave  polyethyl-
ene bags, used as a packaging, unattended.

•

ethylene  bags  or  packaging  film.

disabled  persons  unless  they  are  given  all  the  nec-
essary and understandable instructions by a person 
who  is  responsible  for  their  safety  on  safety  mea-
sures and information about consequences that can 
be caused by improper usage of the unit.

Do  not  dismantle  or  repair  the  scale  or  the  remote 
receiver by yourself, refer only to authorized service 
centers for maintenance and repair.

WHAT IS EXCESS WEIGHT?
It  is  generally  known  that  excessive  body  weight  can 
negatively  affect  the  health.  Excess  weight  can  cause 
obesity,  heart  problems,  atherosclerosis  and  osteo-
porosis;  short  weight  may  also  lead  to  osteoporosis. 
(Osteoporosis  is  a  systemic  skeleton  disease  charac-
terized by reduction of bone mass per unit volume and 
impairment  of  bone  tissue  micro-architectonics  and 
leading  to  increased  bone  fragility  and  risk  of  fracture 
by minimal trauma or even without it).
Physical  exercises  and  a  moderate  diet  help  to  lose 
excess  weight  and  this  scale  helps  to  control  your 
weight.
It is known that at low weight muscles and tissues of the 
body  contain  more  water  than  fat,  and  electric  current 
passes  through  water  better  than  though  fat.  Sending 
weak  current  through  the  body,  the  scale  quickly  and 
easily  calculates  the  percentage  of  fat  and  water  in  a 
human body. You can control your weight basing on the 
results of calculation of fat and water percentage.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After unit transportation or storage at low tempera-
ture it is necessary to keep it for at least two hours 
at room temperature before switching on.

• 

If  there  is  a  protective  film  on  the  scale  surface, 
remove it.

• 

Wipe  the  scale  and  the  remote  receiver  body  with 
a soft, slightly damp cloth and then wipe them dry.

Remove  the  lid,  insert  a  CR2032  battery  (supplied 
with the unit), strictly following the polarity (pic. 1).
