Bone mass practically doesn’t change; however, some 
decrease  is  possible  under  many  factors  (weight, 
height, age, sex). That’s why this manual does not con-
tain standard values and recommendations concerning 
the bone mass.

Recommended level of daily calorie intake

Level  of  daily  calorie  intake  is  the  amount  of  energy 
required by human body at rest for daily living activities 
(for instance, if you stay in bed for 24 hours). Required 
amount of calories significantly depends on the weight, 
height  and  age  of  a  person.  This  amount  of  calories  is 
required  by  human  body  and  it  should  be  regained  by 
means  of  food.  If  you  receive  less  calories  for  a  long 
time, it may harm your health.

Analysis of weighing results

As  a  rule,  short-term  changes  of  weight  within  several 
days  are  the  result  of  minor  loss  of  liquid  in  your  body 
tissues. Analyze the results of regular weight measure-
ments for a long time. Evaluation of the results is based 
on  changes  of  total  weight,  fat  percentage  and  water 
percentage  in  body  tissues  and  depends  on  the  dura-
tion of the period when the measurements were made.
Short-term  indication  changes  during  a  day  can  be 
significantly different from the indication changes within 
a week or a month.
As a rule, short-term indication changes are connected 
with  percentage  of  liquid  in  body  tissues,  and  medium 
and  long-term  changes  are  caused  by  changes  of  fat 
percentage and muscle bulk volume.

Short-term  weight  loss  and  simultaneous  growth 
or  constant  fat  percentage  in  body  tissues  may  be 
caused  by  decreasing  of  liquid  amount  as  a  re-
sult  of  physical  exercises,  visiting  sauna  or  quick 
weight loss.

Medium-term  increase  of  weight,  decrease  of  fat 
amount or constant fat amount in body tissues may 
be caused by increasing of muscle bulk.

If  you  notice  one-time  decrease  of  total  weight  and 
fat  percentage,  it  means  that  your  diet  works,  i.e. 
you lose the fat percentage in your body tissues.

The  best  results  are  achieved  if  you  combine  diet 
with  physical  exercises.  In  this  case  you  can  ob-
serve  the  medium-term  increase  of  muscle  mass 
in body tissues.

CLEANING AND CARE

– 

Wipe  the  scale  with  a  soft,  slightly  damp  cloth  and 
then wipe it dry.

Never use abrasives or solvents.

– 

Never immerse the unit into water or other liquids.

– 

Keep  the  scale  away  from  children  in  a  dry  cool 
place.
