Charging the Battery
Before you can use your phone, you need to install and charge
the battery.
Tip:
When your phone is turned on, the battery level indicator in
the upper right corner of the phone display shows the amount of
charge left in your battery. (See the “Battery Level Indicator”
item on page 30.)
Do This

Plug the travel charger
into your phone with the
release tab facing up.

Plug the other end of the
travel charger into the
appropriate electrical
outlet.

When your phone
indicates that the battery
is fully charged, press the
release tab and remove
the travel charger.
