Before you can make a cal l on your mobi l e
phone you have to i nsert the SIM card.
Shoul d you have forgotten to i nsert the SIM card
the tel ephone w i l l ask you to do so.
Before i nserti ng the SIM card i nto the phone
pl ease make sure that any pl asti c remai ns from
the frame punchi ng have been removed.
1. Sw i tch off your phone.
2. Remove the battery i f attached on the
phone.
3. Insert the SIM card i n the sl ot and sl i de
i t upw ards unti l the l ocki ng catch snaps.
Pl ease note that the truncated corner
shoul d be at the bottom ri ght.
4. Insert the battery.
5. Sw i tch on the tel ephone.
The phone w i l l di spl ay a w el come greeti ng.
6. Enter PIN code, i f requested, and
confi rm by pressi ng

The tel ephone w i l l now start searchi ng for your
home netw ork. W hen connecti on i s successful l y
establ i shed, the name of your netw ork operator
w i l l be di spl ayed.
If the tel ephone cannot get i n touch w i th your
home netw ork i t w i l l start searchi ng for another
co-operati ng netw ork.
If the phone cannot establ i sh contact w i th any
netw ork at al l and you attempt to make a cal l , the
di spl ay w i l l show

Remove SI M card
To remove the SIM card press the smal l red
catch to the ri ght of the SIM card w i th a penci l
or other poi nted obj ect.
