When to reill the rinse aid dispenser

 If the re is no rinse-aid warning light in the control panel, you can judge the

amountofrinse-aidbythecoloroftheopticallevelindicator“D”locatednextto

thecap.Whentherinse-aidcontainerisfull,thewholeindicatorwillbedark.As

therinse-aiddiminishes,thesizeofthedarkdotdecreases.Youshouldneverlet

therinseaidgetbelow1/4full.

 Astherinseaiddiminishes,thesizeoftheblackdotontherinseaidlevelindicator

changes,asillustratedbelow.

1. Toopenthedispenser,turnthecaptothe“open”(left)arrowandliftitout.

2. Pourtherinseaidintothedispenser,beingcarefulnottooverill.

3. Replacethecapbyinsertingitalignedwith“open”arrowandturningitto

theclosed(right)arrow.

 Becarefulnottooverillthedispenser,becausethiscouldcauseoversuds

-

ing.Wipeawayanyspillswithadampcloth.Don’tforgettoreplacethecap

beforeyouclosedishwasherdoor.

  Clean  up  any  rinse  aid  split  during  illing  with  an  absorbent  cloth  to  avoid 

excess foaming during the next wash.

 The rinse aid dispenser has six scales. Always start with the

dispenserseton“4”.Ifspotsandpoordryingareaproblem,

increasetheamountofrinseaiddispensedbyremovingthe

dispenserlidandrotatingthedialto“5”.Ifthedishesstillare

not drying properly or are show spots, adjust the dial to the

next higher lever until your dishes are spot-free. The recom

mendedsettingis“4”.(Factoryvalueis“4”.)

  Note: Increase the dose if there are drops of water or lime spots on the dishes 

after washing. Reduce it if there are sticky whitish stains on your dishes or a 

bluish ilm on glassware or knife blades.
