Operations manual
Important!
When connecting the cooler to the car
power supply (DC 12 V) take care of prop-
er polarity in the cigar lighter socket. This
model is designed for cars with negative
chassis ground.
Power cord (1) of the cooler shall be con-
nected to the cigar lighter socket (3) of
your car, boat or wan.
At first insert the plug (2), then connect the
other end of the cord to the cooler.
Operation mode
The change of heating and cooling modes
is carried out by the switch (1). The current
mode can be determined by the colour of
light emitting diodes: green - cooling (2),
red - heating (3).
Cooling
The best effect is achieved when you fill in
the cooler with already frozen foodstuff
and cooled drinks. In this case they will not
warm up, provided the device is switched
on all the time.
Heating
The device is designed to maintain prod-
ucts temperature, but not to heat up cold
foodstuff. Hot foodstuff keeps its tempera-
ture even for several hours after the device
has been switched off provided the cover is
closed tightly.
Ventilation
For normal operation of the cooler it is nec-
essary to provide adequate ventilation.
Otherwise, the device will not operate
properly.
Keep the cooler out of direct sunrays,
never close ventilation openings (1, 2) and
never use the device in a closed room with-
out ventilation (3).
Troubleshooting
Problem 1
The device does not function, the fun does
not rotate. Immediately disconnect the
device from the power source and check
the following:
1. Cigar lighter socket
When frequently using the socket can be
clogged with cigarette ash. It results in
contact worsening. Clean it with a non-
metal brush and dissolvent until the central
contact stud is visibly clean. If the plug of
the cooler is overheated while connected
to the cigar lighter, it is necessary either to
clean the socket or to check the proper
assembly of the plug.
2. Fuse in the car
A fuse (usually 15 A) is connected to the
cigar lighter. Check whether it is not blown.
In most cars ignition shall be on so power is
supplied to the cigar lighter.
Problem 2
The device does not cool properly; the
external fun does not rotate. It is possible
that the fun motor is damaged. Repairs
shall be performed only in the authorized
servicing center.
Problem 3
The device does not cool air, but the fun
rotates.
It is possible that the thermoelectric cooler
is damaged.
