How t o St art t he Appliance
NOTICE
Af t er t he appliance has been delivered, st and it in t he
upright posit ion and w ait approximat ely 3 hours be-
f ore connect ing it t o t he elect rical out let t o guarant ee
t hat it operat es properly.
Bef ore placing f oodst uff s in t he ref rigerat or or f reezer, clean
t he int erior w ell w it h w arm w at er and baking soda.
How t o use t he ref rigerat or compart ment ...
Af t er having plugged t he appliance int o t he socket , make
sure t hat t he ref rigerat or light has t urned on. Then t urn t he
t hermost at knob “ J” t o set t ing “ 3” . Af t er a f ew hours have
passed, you can place f resh f ood in t he ref rigerat or com-
part ment and f rozen f oods int o t he f reezer.
The t hermost at aut omat ically regulat es t he t emperat ure in-
side t he appliance
1 = less cold 5 = colder
It is recommended t hat a medium set t ing be used.
To increase t he amount of space, opt imize arrangement and
improve appearance, t his appliance has a “ cooling area” lo-
cat ed w it hin t he back panel of t he ref rigerat or compart ment .
When t he appliance is operat ing, t his panel may be covered
w it h f rost or droplet s of w at er depending on w het her t he com-
pressor is operat ing or not at a given t ime. Do not be con-
cerned about t his! The ref rigerat or is operat ing normally.
If t he t hermost at knob is posit ioned on higher set t ings w hile
t he ref rigerat or is heavily f illed and t he ambient t emperat ure
high, t he appliance may run cont inuously, result ing in t he f or-
mat ion of f rost on t he back cooling area. This w ill lead t o an
increase in energy consumpt ion.
To avoid t his sit uat ion, just t urn t he t hermost at knob t o a
low er set t ing so t hat t he appliance def rost s aut omat ically.
The ref rigerat or compart ment of your appliance is equipped w it h
A.I.R. Syst em (Arist on Int egrat ed Ref rigerat ion) w hich allow s
an optimal food storage while simplifying the use of the refrigerator
t hanks t o t he f ollow ing f eat ures:
- Fast t emperat ure reset : af t er t he doors heve been opened,
t he int ernal t emperat ures ret urn t o opt imal values f ast er,
improving f ood st orage.

The ref rigerat or compart ment is equipped w it h pract ical slide-
out shelves (Fig. 1) w hich can be adjust ed f or height using t he
appropriat e guides. This f eat ure allow s you t o st ore large con-
t ainers and f ood product s.
Remember t o cool hot f ood bef ore st oring ot herw ise t he t em-
perat ure inside t he appliance w ill increase, causing t he com-
pressor t o w ork harder and use more energy.
Do not st ore liquids in unsealed cont ainers since t his w ill in-
crease t he humidit y and lead t o t he f ormat ion of f rost in t he
ref rigerat or.
Be caref ul not t o place cont ainers (plast ic or glass), f ood or
ot her object s in direct cont act w it h t he cooling area of t he
back w all of t he ref rigerat or. This could harm t he f ood, in-
crease energy consumpt ion and f acilit at e t he f ormat ion of
condensat e (on f ood, cont ainers, et c.).
To use t he meat /cheese box, unhook it and remove it f rom t he
shelf . To opt imise space according t o your needs, t he same
can be moved lat erally (Fig. 2).
The side bot t le rack can be used eit her f or st oring bot t les (Fig.
3) as w ell as several cans (2-4) placed horizont ally (Fig. 4). If
