Cleaning and Special M aint enance

Bef ore cleaning t he ref rigerat or, disconnect  it  f rom t he
elect rical mains (by removing t he plug f rom t he socket
or by t urning off  t he main elect ricit y sw it ch f or t he
apart ment  or house).
- The mat erials used t o build your appliance are hygienic
and do not  t ransmit  odors. How ever, t o preserve t his qualit y
of  your appliance, t he f ood st ored in it  must  be w ell closed
and covered t o prevent  spills w hich could st ain it  and cause
unpleasant  odors.
- Only w at er and baking soda. To clean bot h t he int erior and
ext erior, use a sponge w it h w arm w at er and baking soda,
w hich is, among ot her t hings, a good disinf ect ant . If  you do
not  have any in t he house, you can use a neut ral soap.
- What  not  t o use. Never use abrasives, bleach or ammonia.
Solvent s and similar product s are st rict ly prohibit ed.
- All t he removable part  should be t aken out  and allow ed t o
soak in hot  w at er and dishw ashing soap. Rinse and dry t hem
w ell bef ore put t ing t hem back in t he ref rigerat or.
- When t he appliance is not  used f or a long t ime. If  you
decide not  t o use t he appliance (during t he summer), it  must
cleaned and t he doors lef t  open t o prevent  t he f ormat ion of
mold and unpleasant  odors.
- Replacing t he light  bulb.
When replacing t he light  of  t he ref rigerat or compart ment
unplug t he unit  f rom t he pow er supply and chang t he used
lamp w it h anot her one of  not  more t han 15 W.
For access t i lamp " A" , remove t he cent re screw  " B"  at  t he
back of  t he lamp cover, as indicat ed in f ig. 9.
