MPORTANT INSTALLATION TIPS

 
IMPORTANT:  for  correct  cooktop  installation, 
adjustment  or  modification  for  use  with  different 
types  of  gas,  contact  a  QUALIFIED  INSTALLER. 
Failure  to  meet  this  requirement  results  in 
warranty cancellation.

Instructions  for  installer:  side  walls  must  not  be 
elevated  over  the  cooktop  level.  Back  wall  and 
surfaces  adjacent  to  the  cooktop  must  withstand 
the temperature of 90°C. 
Glue  used  for  attaching  the  plastic  plate  to 
furniture must withstand the temperature of 150°C 
to prevent coating separation. 
The  appliance  must  be  installed  in  a  manner  that 
ensures  easy  operation  in  compliance  with 
standards.

This  appliance  is  not  fitted  with  a  combustion 
products  removal  device,  therefore  it  must  be 
installed  following  the  requirements  given  above. 
Applicable  guidelines  with  respect  to  ventilation 
and  airing  specified  below  must  be  strictly 
adhered to. 

5)  ROOM VENTILATION

To  ensure  correct  operation  of  appliance,  continuous 
ventilation  must  be  provided  in  the  room  of  its 
installation. The amount of air required for normal gas 
combustion  and  room  ventilation  must  be  provided. 
This amount must not be less than 20 m

. Natural inlet 

of  air  must  be  ensured  directly  through  permanent 
openings made in walls of the room to be ventilated. 
These openings must be led outside and have a cross-
section of at least 100 cm

2

 (see Fig. 3). They must be 

done in a way that eliminates the risk of their blockage. 
It  is  also  acceptable  to  provide  indirect  ventilation  by 
supplying  air  from  rooms  adjacent  to  the  room  to  be 
ventilated. Provisions of applicable guidelines must be 
strictly followed. 

ATTENTION:  if  cooktop  burners  are  not  equipped 
with  control  thermocouple,  ventilation  opening 
must have a cross-section of at least 200 cm

6)  LOCATION AND AIRING 

It  is  necessary  to  ensure  removal  of  combustion 
products  from  cooktops  using  extraction  hoods  that 
must  be  connected  to  ventilation  pipes,  chimneys  or 
have an outlet directly to outside (see Fig. 4). 

If installation of an extraction hood is not possible, 
it is acceptable to install a fan, using a window or 
wall  with  outlet  to  outside.  The  fan  must  run 
simultaneously  with  the  appliance  (see  Fig.  5).
