succession, the heat-sealing column becomes
increasingly hotter. This may impair the quality of
the heat-sealing seam. Af ter seve ral vacuuming
processes, you should therefore select a lower
heat-sealing time or leave the appliance to cool for
approx. 2 minutes between the processes.

At the end of the process, the chamber is ventilated and
an acoustic signal sounds. You can now open the glass
lid and remove the heat-sealed vacuuming bag from the
c h a m b e r.
N o te :
To heat-seal the bag, the vacuuming drawer
requires a specific degree of vacuum. If you touch the
±
symbol fir s t, the vacuuming drawer pumps air out of
the compar tment until this degree has been reached.
The bag is then heat-sealed.

Vacuum the food in a suit able vacuuming cont ainer in
order to preser ve the food for longer.
S u i t a b l e va c u u m i n g c o n t a i n e r s
Only use cont ainer s that are suit able for vacuuming
food. Commercially available products are dif fe rent
when it comes to the quality of the food and the
m a te r i a l .
The vacuum hose that is enclosed with this appliance
has an inner diameter of 3 mm. To ensure that the hose
fits, you may require an adaptor for your cont ainer. In
many cases, these adapto r s are already included with
the vacuuming cont ainer s.
Proceed as follow s:
