The heat-sealing time for the vacuuming bag alway s
d e p e n d s o n t h e m a te r i a l f r o m w h i c h i t i s m a d e . I n m o s t
c a s e s , h e a t - s e a l i n g l eve l 1 i s s u f f i c i e n t fo r h e a t - s e a l i n g
thin bags. Vacuuming bags that are made from a thicker
material require a longer heat-sealing time at heat-
s e a l i n g l eve l 2 o r h i g h e r.
The length of the heat-sealing column limits the size of
the vacuuming bag that can be used. You should
therefore only use bags with a maximum width of
2 4 0 m m .
F i l l i n g t h e b a g
Where possible, position the items of food in the
va c u u m - s e a l i n g b a g n ex t to e a c h o t h e r a n d n o t o n to p o f
each other.
To ensure that the sealing seam is per fect, it is
impor t ant that the edge of the bag is clean and dr y. To
ensure that the seam is per fect during the heat-sealing
process, it is impor t ant that there is no food residue
around the seam on the edge of the bag. Before you fill
the bag, you should therefore fold over its edge by
approx. 3 cm. Unfold the edge again once the bag has
been filled.
To ensure that you can keep track of your bags and the
food that is vacuumed within them, we recommend that
you make a note on the bag of the date of the vacuuming
along with the contents.
Proceed as follow s :

Open the glass lid.

Place the vacuuming bag in the compar tment.

Ensure that the food is at the lowe st possible
initial te mperature – within the range of 1 – 8 °C
i s b e s t .
‒
Ensure that the air outlet is not cove red. This
means that the pump can extract the air from the
c h a m b e r.
‒
Ensure that the centre of the bag and the ends
of the bag lie flat on top of the heat-sealing
column. This ensures that the heat-sealing seam
i s p e r fe c t l y c l o s e d .
‒
Ensure that the open end of the bag protrudes
over the heat-sealing column by approx. 3 cm but
that it is not resting on the lid seal.

If required, use the raised vacuuming
platform so that the bag does not slip.

At the end of the process, the chamber is ventilated and
an acoustic signal sounds. You can now open the glass
lid and remove the heat-sealed vacuum-sealing bag from
t h e c h a m b e r.

extremely hot if the appliance is used frequently and
there are long heat-sealing times. N ever touch the hot
sealing bar. Keep children away from the appliance.

last up to 2 minutes. Af ter this time, the bag is heat-
sealed and the vacuuming level that is reached
l i g h t s u p .

the bag. Carefully tr y to pull the seam apar t. If it
comes apar t, select a higher heat-sealing level the
