CHEST FREEZER

 ATTENTION! Do not use abrasive substances, gasoline, benzene, solvents, hot 

water, metal, or coarse brushes, etc. for cleaning, as they can damage the surface 

of the freezer.

TROUBLESHOOTING

During operation, if any malfunctions are detected that the consumer cannot eliminate 

on  their  own,  it  is  necessary  to  contact  the  service  workshop  for  the  repair  of  freezer 
equipment.

But before contacting the repair service, read this section. This list includes the most 

common cases that are not the result of poor assembly quality or poor-quality materials 
used in this device.

 ATTENTION!  Before  troubleshooting,  you  must  disconnect  the  product  from 

the  mains.  Troubleshooting  that  is  not  described  in  this  manual  should  only  be 

carried out by a qualified electrician or a competent technician.

Malfunction

The chest freezer does 
not work.

The plug is not plugged in or not fully 
plugged in.

Plug the power cord plug into the wall 
outlet.

The fuse is blown or faulty.

Check the fuse. Replace it if necessary.

The plug is faulty.

The fault is fixed by an electrician.

The chest freezer is 
exceptionally cold.

The temperature is set to very low.

Adjust the temperature to higher values.

Ineffective cooling.

The temperature is set incorrectly.

Set the desired temperature.

Chest lid had been open for too long

Do not leave the chest lid open for longer 
than necessary.

A large amount of warm food has been 
placed in the freezing chamber over the 
past 24 hours.

Set a lower temperature.

The chest freezer is located next to the 
heat source.

Please read the instructions for installing 
and placing the chest freezer again.

Bad smell from their 
freezer.

The food is not packaged correctly or is 
spoiled.

Check that the products are properly 
packaged and their aren’t expired. 
Remove spoiled food from the chamber.

The chest freezer door 
does not close.

The volume of food being loaded exceeds 
the usable volume of the freezer.

For the correct operation of the device, 
do not exceed the volume of the loaded 
products in excess of the useful volume 
of the chest.

The buildup of ice on 
the sealing strip.

The sealing tape is not airtight.

Heat the sealing tape with warm air, 
using a hair dryer to dry your hair. At the 
same time, straighten the tape with your 
hands, giving it the necessary shape to 
ensure tightness.

Uncharacteristic 
sounds.

The chest freezer is not installed correctly 
in height.

Adjust feets.

The chest freezer is close to the wall or 
other objects

Carefully remove the chest freezer 
compartment.

A part of the chest freezer, such as a tube, 
touches the wall or other parts of it.

If necessary, carefully bend the 
interfering part, observing all necessary 
safety measures.
