I/O Back Panel Introduction

PS/2 Keyboard and PS/2 Mouse Connector

To install a PS/2 port keyboard and m ouse, plug the m ouse to the upper port (green) and the keyboard to the
lower port (purple).

Para llel Port

The paralle l port allows connection of a printer, scan ner and other peripher al devices.

SPDIF_O (SPDIF Out)

The SPDIF output is capable of providing digital audio to external speakers or com pressed AC3 data to
an external Dolby  Digital De coder.

SPDIF_I (SPDIF In)

Use SPDIF In   feature o nly when  your dev ice has d igital ou tput func tion.

VGA Port

M onitor ca n be connected to  VGA port.

LAN Port

The provided Internet connection is Gigabit Ethernet, providing data transfer speeds of 10/100/1000Mbps.

USB port

Before you connect your device(s) into USB connector(s), please m ake sure your device(s) such as
USB keyboard, m ouse, sca nner, zip, speaker...etc. have a standard USB interface. Also m ake sure
your OS supports USB controller. If your OS does  not support USB controller,  please contact OS ven
dor for possible patch or driver upgrade. For m ore inform ation please contact your OS or device(s)
vendors.

Line  In

Devices like  CD-ROM , walkm an etc. can be connected to Line In jack.

Line Out (Fron t Speaker Out)

Connect the stereo speakers, earphone or front surround channels to this connector.

MIC In

M icrophone can be conn ected to M IC In jack.

Back Surround Speaker Out

Connect the back surround c hannels to this c onnector.

Center/Subwoofer Speaker Out

Connec t the Cente r/Subwoofer  channels to this conn ector.

Surround Speaker Out

Co nnec t the  surr oun d c hann els   to  this c onn ecto r.
