Maintenance
Clean the surface of the spark plug. Take out the
spark plug and check the electrode gap. Set the
gap to 0.6 - 0.7 or replace the spark plug. Check
that the cable socket is seated on the spark plug.

Clean the cooling system of the power tool.

Clean the surface of the carburettor and the
area in its vicinity.

Check that the fl ange, guard and nuts are
correctly assembled and tightened.

Clean the fuel tank.
X
Check all cables and connections.
X
Check the clutch, clutch springs and clutch
basket for wear. If necessary, have it replaced
at an authorised service centre.

Replace the spark plug. Check that the cable
socket is seated on the spark plug.

Remove dirt, leaves and excess lubricant from
the exhaust muffl er and engine to reduce the
risk of causing a fi re.
