General warnings

The hot water storage tank has to be put into operation and first started by
a professional technician in compliance with the effective regulations and
laws for putting into operation, as well as with any requirements of the
local authorities and public health organisations. Before turning on the
heating, the storage tank has to be filled up with water.

If the hot water storage tank to be put into operation does not only replace
an existing equipment, but it is part of the renewal of the existing
hydraulic system or of a new hydraulic system, the company putting the
hot water storage tank into operation – when it has been put into operation
– shall issue a declaration of conformity, certifying that effective laws and
specifications are met. The company putting the equipment into operation
in both cases shall carry out safety and operational checks for the whole
system.

Any zincked steel pipe, plastic pipe and red copper pipe can be used as hot
or cold water pipes. In case of connecting red copper pipes to the pipeline
system, the use of insulating intermediate pieces is compulsory. It is
prohibited to connect the hot water storage tanks with a hose.

Improper connection may involve the injury of persons and animals, or it
may cause damage to objects. The manufacturer shall not be liable for the
above.

It is prohibited to mount a pipeline fitting between the safety valve and the
equipment.

It is prohibited to close the outlet tube and to drain leakage in a non-
visible way.

It is life hazardous and prohibited to put the storage tank and the heat
exchanger under a pressure exceeding the allowed operation pressure (0.7
MPa). If the water pressure in the system exceeds the value of 0.6 MPa
even temporarily, a pressure reducing valve has to be mounted in front of
the hot water storage tank.

It is prohibited to operate the hot water storage tank without protective
earthing.
