After connecting your TV and AV cordless
IR receiver, set the POWER switch on the
AV cordless IR receiver to ON.

Turn the TV on and set the TV/VCR
selector on the TV to VCR.

Press LASER LINK. The lamp of LASER
LINK lights up.

Point the LASER LINK emitter at the AV
cordless IR receiver. Adjust the position of
your camcorder and the AV cordless IR
receiver to obtain clear playback pictures.

LINK button goes out.

• When laser link is activated (the LASER LINK
button is lit), your camcorder consumes
power. Press LASER LINK to turn off the
laser link function when it is not needed.
• When you attach the lens hood, the lens hood
may block the infrared ray depending on the
positions of the camcorder and the IR
receiver. In this case, detach the lens hood.
