 empty the compartment (you can 

clean it with a cloth or paper towel), 

−

 close filtration cartridge lid and 

insert it into the vacuum cleaner, 

−

close the vacuum cleaner lid 

pressing it until you can hear 
characteristic clicking sound. 

CLEANING AND EXCHANGE OF HEPA12 BASIC FILTER OF „CYKLON” FILTRATION 
CARTRIDGE 

It is necessary to clean HEPA basic filter from dust fractions periodically. The filter is placed inside the 
cartridge. In order to do it: 

−

  remove the hose from the inlet, 

−

  release the hook of front lid, open it, 

−

  remove filtration cartridge (see Filtration cartridge emptying), 

−

 empty filtration cartridge compartment (see Filtration cartridge 

emptying), 

−

  turn HEPA12 basic filter in 

UNLOCK

 direction and remove it pulling in 

your direction, 

−

  remove basic filter protecting grid, 

−

  clean the grid, wash it and dry thoroughly. Replace with a new one, in 

case it is damaged. 

Attention! It is forbidden to assemble damp protection grid from 

safety reasons. 

−

  Clean the folds of HEPA12 basic filter. You can wash the filter under 

running water. Dry the filter thoroughly. When the filter fold is damaged 
you must replace it with new filter. 

Attention! It is forbidden to assemble damp HEPA12 filter from safety reasons. 

−

  after grid and HEPA12 filter cleaning and drying put the grid on HEPA12 filter, and inset all et into 

filtration cartridge compartment, 

−

  press the blockade button and turn all HEPA12 filter in 

LOCK

 direction, 

−

  insert all filtration cartridges into the vacuum cleaner (see Filtration cartridge emptying). 

Attention! HEPA12 basic filter should be exchanged two times a year and always when it is 

damaged. 

DUSTBAG REPLACING 

Zelmer vacuum cleaners are equipped with SAFBAG dust bags (amount according to the table 
above). Dust bag replacing is necessary when you notice that full dust bag indicator is covered with 
red colour, safety valve opens, the suction is significantly lower, and dust bag is full. When the safety 
valve opens, but you realize that the dust bag is not yet full, we recommend you to replace the bag, 
because in unfavourable conditions the fine dust could block the pores on the dust bag surface, which 
significantly decreases the sucking power of the vacuum cleaner. When picking up wool remains, the 
dust bag can be full, although the full dust bag indicator does not indicate it. In such case it is also 
necessary to replace the bag with a new one. In order to do it: 

−

   Remove the hose from the air-inlet, 

−

  Release the hook of front lid (

), open it, 

−

  Holding the bag bar lean it slightly inside and 

then remove the whole bag upwards (

), 

−

  Close the SAFBAG dust bag lid, to cover the 

inlet of the full bag, 

−

  Holding the dust bag bar lean it upwards and 

move the dust bag out of the runners (

),
