 Dear users 

Please read this instructions manual very carefully. Your special attention is to be paid to the safety 
instructions. Please keep this instructions manual in a safe place during the whole life of your vacuum 
cleaner for further reference. 

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including Children) with reduced physical, 
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been 
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for 
their safety

.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS 

−

  Always connect your vacuum cleaner to the AC 230 V supply with a 16 A network fuse. 

−

  Do not take the plug out of a socket by pulling on its cord. 

−

  Do not put the vacuum cleaner into operation when its cord or body is visibly damaged. 

If the non-detachable part of the cord is damaged, it should be replaced by the producer or at a 
proper service point or by a qualified person in order to avoid any hazards. 
The vacuum cleaner can be repaired only by trained people. A vacuum cleaner which is not 
repaired properly can cause considerable risks to its user. When you have noticed some 
malfunctions on your vacuum cleaner we advise you to contact a specialist servicing place to 
have them remedied.

  Do not let the vacuum cleaner or the suction brushes run over the power lead because this is likely 

to damage the insulation of the lead.

  Always unplug the appliance before cleaning, assembling or dismantling. 

−

  Switch off the appliance before changing the accessories or before approaching moving parts. 

−

  Switch off the appliance before changing the accessories.

  Do not vacuum, using your vacuum cleaner with no bag or filters in it or if its bag is damaged.

  Do not vacuum animals, people and be especially careful not to move the suction nozzles close to 

one’s eyes or ears.

  Do not draw into the vacuum cleaner: matches, butt-ends, hot ash. Avoid picking up sharp objects.

  Check the suction hose, pipes and nozzles for impurities and remove them therefrom. 

−

  Do not vacuum fine powders like flour, cement, gypsum, toners and the like. 

−

  Use your vacuum cleaner only inside office rooms or living quarters and for vacuuming dry surfaces. 

Before you start  vacuuming wet treated carpets let them go dry first.

  Only a ZELMER made electro-brush is allowed to be connected to your vacuum cleaner if it is of 

course equipped with a the electro- brush socket. 

The manufacturer of the vacuum cleaner is not responsible for possible consequences if the 
vacuum cleaner is used not according to its purpose or if it is not operated properly. 
The manufacturer reserves the right to change the product without notice in case it has to 
conform to legal rules, standards, directives or for the construction, commercial, esthetic and 
other reasons.
