 Adjust the telescopic tube to the length you ind most comfortable during vacuuming.  (Fig. 6)

Hold the collar with one hand and pull the tube par t above the collar upwards or push it 
downwards with the other hand.

Connecting the accessories  

 1 

 To connect the tube to one of the accessories:  (Fig. 7)

Telescopic tube with conical connection (speciic types only): Inser t the telescopic tube into the 

accessor y while turning it a little.

-

Telescopic tube with button connection (speciic types only): Press the spring-loaded lock 

button on the telescopic tube and inser t the tube into the accessor y. Fit the spring-loaded lock 

button into the opening in the accessor y (‘click’).

 To disconnect the telescopic tube from one of the accessories: 

-

Telescopic tube with conical connection (speciic types only): Pull the telescopic tube out of the 

accessor y while turning it a little.

-

Telescopic tube with button connection (speciic types only): Press the spring-loaded lock 

button and pull the tube out of the accessor y.

Tip: The small nozzle, crevice tool and small brush (speciic types only) can also be connected to the 

handgrip of the hose.

 Insert the crevice tool and the small nozzle into the clip.

 Snap the accessory clip onto the tube (Fig. 8).

 3 

 Pull the accessory clip from the tube to remove it.

tri-active nozzle (speciic types only)

The Tri-Active nozzle is a multi-purpose nozzle for carpets and hard loors.

-

The side brushes catch more dust and dir t at the sides of the nozzle and allow you to clean 

better along furniture and other obstacles (Fig. 9).

The opening at the front of the nozzle allows you to suck up larger par ticles (Fig. 10).

 Use the hard loor setting to clean hard loors (for instance tiled, parqueted, laminated and 

linoleumed looring): push the rocker switch on top of the nozzle with your foot to make the 

brush strip come out of the housing. At the same time, the wheel is lifted to prevent 

scratching and to increase manoeuvrability (Fig. 11).

 Use the carpet setting to clean carpets: push the rocker switch again to make the brush strip 

disappear into the nozzle housing. The wheel is lowered automatically (Fig. 12).

Combination nozzle (speciic types only)

The combination nozzle can be used on either carpets or hard loors.

 To clean hard loors, push the rocker switch on top of the nozzle with your foot (Fig. 13).

The brush strip for cleaning hard loors comes out of the nozzle housing.

 To clean carpets, push the rocker switch again (Fig. 14).

,

The brush strip disappears into the nozzle housing.

Hard-loor nozzle (speciic types only)

The hard-loor nozzle is designed for gentle cleaning of hard loors (Fig. 15).
