Cause and remedy
The optical in-operation
indicator light is flash-
ing quickly.
At the end of the pro-
gramme, the alarm tone
sounds and the display
shows the following
message:
Fault F 601: A fault has
occurred; switch the appli-
ance off and back on again.
Restart the programme. If
the fault occurs again, call
Miele Service
.
There is a fault in the AutoDos.
Switch the dishwasher off and back on again.
Check whether the PowerDisk holder and the
PowerDisk have been fitted correctly (see “Deter-
gent – Automatic dispensing/AutoDos”).
Activate the
AutoDos
function and restart the pro-
gramme.
If the fault message appears again, there is a tech-
nical fault. You can continue to use your dishwasher
by deactivating automatic dispensing in the Extras
menu of a programme and manually dispensing the
detergent via the detergent compartment.
If you wish to use automatic dispensing again,
contact the Miele Customer Service Department.

AutoDos requires mainten-
ance. Please check Auto-
Dos system.
The dishwasher does
not switch off at the end
of the programme.
The wash items may not
be clean because an in-
sufficient amount of de-
tergent was dispensed.
The
AutoDos
function is
automatically deactiv-
ated during the pro-
gramme sequence.
An empty PowerDisk has been inserted or the Auto-
Dos is blocked by residual detergent. Detergent
dosage is insufficient.
The
AutoDos
function was automatically deactivated.
Switch the dishwasher off and back on again.
Multiple messages appear in the display.
Clean the pouring channel of the AutoDos (see
“Detergent” chapter, “Cleaning the AutoDos” sec-
tion).
Clean the lower spray arm (see “Cleaning and
care” chapter, “Cleaning the spray arms” section).
Select
OK
to confirm each message.
Activate the
AutoDos
function by confirming the
message
AutoDos available
using
OK
.
Start the programme again.
The programme duration will be extended by up to
2.5 hours to flush out the AutoDos detergent outlet.
