The programme dat a (consumption values) can be found 
i n   t h e   s u m m a r y   o f   i n s t r u c t i o n s .   T h ey   r e fe r   to   n o r m a l  
conditions and the wa ter hardness set value °E 16 - 20 
m e d i u m .   D i f fe r e n t   i n f l u e n c i n g   fa c to r s   s u c h   a s   wa te r  
te mperature or line pressure may result in deviations.

O p e n i n g   t h e   d o o r

To  open the door, press the upper middle par t of the 
d o o r.   T h e   a p p l i a n c e   o p e n s   a u to m a t i c a l l y.

I f   yo u   h ave   a c t i va te d   t h e   c h i l d - p ro o f   l o c k ,   p r e s s   t w i c e   i n  
quick succession at the top of the door in the middle.

C h a n g i n g   t h e   s e t t i n g s

The dishwasher has been preset with cer t ain settings 
for your convenience. You can change these factor y 
settings.

Change the setting as follow s:

T h e   A q u a   s e n s o r   i s   a n   o p t i c a l   m e a s u r i n g   d ev i c e   ( l i g h t  
b a r r i e r )   w h i c h   m e a s u r e s   t h e   t u r b i d i t y   o f   t h e   r i n s i n g  
wa te r.

The AquaSensor is  used according to   the programme. If 
t h e   A q u a S e n s o r   i s   a c t i ve ,   “ c l e a n ”   r i n s i n g   wa te r   c a n   b e  
t r a n s fe r r e d   to   t h e   n ex t   r i n s e   b a t h   a n d   wa te r  
consumption can be reduced by  3–6 litres. If 
the turbidity is greater, the wa ter is drained and 
is replaced with fresh wa te r.  In the automatic 
programmes the te mpera t u r e   a n d   r u n n i n g   t i m e   c a n   a l s o  
be adjusted to  the degree of soiling.

The appliance features a Zeolith cont ainer. Zeolith is a 
m i n e r a l   w h i c h   c a n   s to r e   m o i s t u r e   a n d   h e a t   e n e r g y  
and release them again. 

D u r i n g   t h e   wa s h i n g   s te p   t h i s   h e a t   e n e r g y   i s   u s e d   to   d r y  
the mineral and heat up the rinsing wa te r.  

During the dr ying phase moisture from the rinsing 
compar tment is stored in the mineral and heat energy 
is released. This released heat energy is blown into 
the rinsing compar tment with dr y air. This accelerates 
and improves dr ying.

These processes therefore save  a great deal of energy.

T i m e   d i s p l ay

T h e   r u n n i n g   t i m e   i s   d e te r m i n e d   d u r i n g   t h e   p ro g r a m m e  
by  the wa ter te mperature, the number of utensils as well 
as the degree of soiling and may va r y  (depending on the 
selected programme). You can change the time display 
in time or hour s/minutes so that the remaining running 
time of the rinsing progamme appear s in the display 
window “Ready at” (for ex ample 15:20 hour s) or “Ready 
in” (for ex ample 3:25).
