A: Re vie w trouble shooting tips for cable  conne ctions be low:

Che ck both e nds of the  USB cable  and make  sure  that the y are  fully se ate d in the ir re spe ctive  ports.
Safe ly e je ct the  drive  from your compute r, disconne ct the  cable , wait 10 se conds, and the n re conne ct
the  cable .
Try a diffe re nt USB cable .

Q: Is the  hard drive  conne cte d to a Hi-Spe e d USB 2.0 port on your compute r or hub?

A: If your hard drive  is conne cte d to a Hi-Spe e d 2.0 port or hub, the  infe rior pe rformance  is normal. Se agate

A: A USB-C cable  is not include d with this drive . You have  two options: 1) Use  a cable  with a USB micro-B
e nd and a USB-C e nd. This cable  must support USB 3.0 and highe r. 2) Use  an adapte r with a fe male  USB Type
A port and a male  USB-C e nd.
