FREEZING FRESH FOODS
L’apparecchio presenta scomparti ben distinti.
- Il cassetto superiore è adebito alla congelazione di cibi freschi.
- I cassetti inferiori e centrali sono adebiti esclusivamente alla conservazione
dei cibi surgelati e congelati.
Dopo aver preparato i cibi da congelare in piccole porzioni (1Kg. max), avvolgerli
adeguatamente in appositi fogli di politene e alluminio, sigillarli possibilmente a
chiusura ermetica, annotare le date sugli stessi e riporli nel ripiano stabilito.
Per la congelazione degli alimenti non è necessario variare la posizione della ma-
nopola termostato da quella del normale funzionamento.
Per ottenere un’esatto processo di congelazione è opportuno dare alcuni consigli
importanti:
- La quantità max. degli alimenti freschi che si possono congelare, in Kg/24h,
è riportata sulla targhetta delle caratteristiche tecniche, situata a
fi
anco della
scatola verdure a sinistra, nello scomparto frigorifero.
- Dividere le derrate da congelare, in piccole parti, in maniera di favorire la
rapidità di congelazione e lo scongelamento della quantità occorrente.
- Evitare di mettere cibi da congelare a contatto di quelli già congelati, onde
evitare un
ʼ
innalzamento di temperatura di quest
ʼ
ultimi.
The appliance has two distinct compartments:
- The upper drawer for freezing of fresh foods.
- The lower and middle drawers exclusively for frozen and deep-frozen fo-
ods.
After preparing the food to be frozen into small portions (max. 1 kg), wrap them in
sheets of polythene or aluminium foil, seal them, hermetically if possible, mark the
date on the product and place them in the appropriate drawer.
For freezing, the thermostat knob position need not be changed from that of normal
functioning.
To obtain an accurate freezing process it is opportune to give some important
advice:
- The maximum quantity of fresh food which may be frozen, in kg/24hrs, is
indicated on the technical data plate located at the side of the vegetable box
on the left in the refrigerator compartment.
- Divide the food to be frozen into small portions to ensure rapid freezing and
defrosting of the quantity required.
- Avoid placing food to be frozen into contact with already frozen food to
prevent the latter from increasing in temperature.
