INSTRUCTION ON MOUNTING AND USE

If the power cable is damaged you should, in the interest of
safety, contact the manufacturer or the manufacturer’s technical
assistance service to request a replacement, or ask someone
who is similarly qualified.

The device must not be used by a child or adult who suffers
from a physical, mental or sensory handicap or has not the
relevant experience and knowledge, unless they are aided or
instructed on its use by a person responsible for their safety

Never use the hood without the grill properly fitted!

The hood must not be connected to the flues of other appliances
that run on gas or other fuels. When the hood is used at the
same time as other appliances that run on gas or other fuels,
provision must be made for an adequate supply of air. No food
m u s t   b e   c o o k e d   f l a m b é   u n d e r n e a t h   t h e   h o o d .   T h e   u s e   o f   a n
unprotected flame could cause damage to the filters and could
c a u s e   f i r e s ,   s o   s h o u l d   b e   a v o i d e d .   W h e n   f r y i n g   f o o d ,   n e v e r
leave the pan unattended because the cooking oil could flare
u p .   P l e a s e   c o m p l y   w i t h   t h e   t e c h n i c a l   a n d   s a f e t y   p r o v i s i o n s
s e t   f o r t h   b y   y o u r   l o c a l   c o m p e t e n t   a u t h o r i t i e s   r e g a r d i n g   t h e
ventilation of hoods.

C a u t i o n

T h e   s y m b o l                 o n   t h e   p r o d u c t ,   o r   o n   t h e   d o c u m e n t s
accompanying the product, indicates that this appliance may not
be treated as household waste. Instead it shall be handed over
to the applicable collection point for the recycling of electrical and
electronic equipment. Disposal must be carried out in accordance
with local environmental regulations for waste disposal.
For more detailed information about treatment, recovery and
recycling of this product, please contact your local city office,
your household waste disposal service or the shop where you
purchased the product.

Maintenance

Prior to any maintenance operation ensure that the cooker hood
is disconnected from the electrical outlet.

C l e a n i n g :

Warning: 

  Failure to carry out the basic standards of the cleaning

of the cooker hood and replacement of the filters may cause fire
risks. Therefore we recommend observing these instructions.

Anti-grease Filter

– 

 must be cleaned once a month, with non

abrasive detergents,  by hand or in dishwasher on low temperature
and short cycle.
When washed in a dishwasher, the grease filter may discolour
slightly, but this does not affect its filtering capacity.

Charcoal Filter - (only for filter version):

The active charcoal filters

 are not washable nor regenerative.

It should be changed every 6 months in normal use.

The active charcoal filters capture unpleasant cooking odours.

T h e   h o o d   m u s t   b e   c l e a n e d   f r e q u e n t l y   b o t h   i n s i d e   ( a p a r t   f r o m
t h e   a r e a   b e h i n d   t h e   g r e a s e   f i l t e r )   a n d   o u t s i d e .   U s e   a   c l o t h
moistened with denatured alcohol or neutral liquid detergents.
N e v e r   u s e   p r o d u c t s   c o n t a i n i n g   a b r a s i v e s .

D i s p o s a l   o f   t h e   b a t t e r i e s

Ultimate disposal of the batteries should be handled according
to all national laws and regulations. Do not place used
b a t t e r i e s   i n   y o u r   r e g u l a r   w a s t e .
Ultimate disposal of the batteries must be done safely

i n f o r m a t i o n   r e g a r d i n g   t h e   e n v i r o n m e n t a l l y   s o u n d   c o l l e c t i o n ,
recycling, and disposal of the batteries.
