PERSONAL SCALE VT-1967 W

The  scale  is  intended  to  measure  weight, 
calculate the body weight index and to measure 
fat,  water  and  bone  tissue  percentage  in  a 
human body.

This  scale  uses  bioelectric  body  impedance 
analysis  «BIA»  that  allows  to  precisely 
calculate  the  body  weight  index  and 
percentage  of  fat  and  bone  tissues  and 
water.  The  calculations  are  based  on 
personal  data  (height,  age,  sex)  input  into 
the unit memory.

AT TENTION!

Before  using  the  unit,  read  these  instructions 
carefully and keep them for future reference.
Use  the  unit  according  to  its  intended  pur-
pose  only,  as  it  is  stated  in  this  user  manual. 
Mishandling  the  unit  can  lead  to  its  breakage 
and  cause  harm  to  the  user  or  damage  to  his/
her property.

PRECAUTIONS

•

Using  the  excess  weight  analysis  func-
tion  is  TOTALLY  contraindicated  to  preg-
nant women.

•

Using  the  excess  weight  analysis  func-
tion  is  TOTALLY  contraindicated  to  peo-
ple having pacemakers and other medical 
devices with built-in batteries.

 •

Handle your scale with care as it is a measur-
ing instrument, do not subject it to high or low 
temperatures,  high  humidity,  never  expose  it 
to direct sunlight and do not drop it.

 •

Use the scale away from heating units.

 •

Avoid  getting  of  liquids  into  the  scale  body, 
this appliance is not waterproof. Do not store 
or  use  the  scale  in  places  with  high  humidity 
(above  80%),  make  sure  that  the  scale  does 
not come into contact with water or other liq-
uids as this may cause failure of scale indica-
tion or its damage.

 •

Place  the  scale  on  a  flat,  dry  and  non-slip 
surface.

 •

The  scale  readouts  will  be  more  accurate  if 
you do not use the scale on carpets or rugs.

 •

Do not step on the damp surface of the scale, 
do not step on the scale with wet feet, other-
wise you can slip and get injured.

 •

Be  careful  while  stepping  on  the  scale:  step 
on the scale first with one foot; make sure that 
the  scale  is  steady  and  only  then  step  on  it 
with both feet.

 •

Step  on  the  scale  and  dispose  your  weight 
evenly. Stand still while weighing. Do not jump 
on the scale surface.

 •

Replace  the  batteries  in  time.

Strictly  follow 

the  polarity  according  to  the  markings  when 
replacing the batteries.

 •

If  you  are  not  planning  to  use  the  scale  for  a 
long time, remove the batteries from the bat-
tery compartment.

 •

Do  not  leave  children  unattended  to  prevent 
using the unit as a toy.

 •

For  children  safety  reasons,  do  not  leave 
polyethylene  bags  used  as  packaging  unat-
tended.

Attention!  Do  not  allow  children  to  play  with 
polyethylene bags or packaging film. Danger of 
suffocation!

 •

This unit is not intended for usage by children 
under 8 years of age. 

 •

This  unit  is  not  intended  for  usage  by  people 
(including children over 8) with physical, neural 
and mental disorders or with insufficient expe-
rience  or  knowledge.  Such  persons  may  use 
this unit only if they are under supervision of a 
person who is responsible for their safety and 
if  they  are  given  all  the  necessary  and  under-
standable  instructions  concerning  the  safe 
usage  of  the  unit  and  information  about  dan-
ger that can be caused by its improper usage.

 •

Do  not  repair  the  scale  by  yourself.  Refer  to 
authorized service centers for maintenance. 

 •

To avoid damages, transport the unit in origi-
nal package only.

 •

Keep the unit out of reach of children and dis-
abled persons.

USING THE SCALE

After  unit  transportation  or  storage  under  cold 
(winter) conditions, it is necessary to keep it for
