Settings recovery
If the touch control is turned off by m istake w ith the O N/O FF
button "1", it is possible to recover the previous settings w ith the
recovery function. O nce it is turned off, the user has 6 seconds to
turn it on again, and then another 6 seconds to press the pause
button "4". This function allow s you to recov er the previous
cooking power and tim er v alues for each cooking zone.
Precau tion s (Fig. 2)
- W hen one makes use of heating elements, w e advise
receptacles with flat bottom having same diameter or lightly
higher than that of the hot area.
- Avoid overflow s of liquid, therefore w hen boiling has happened,
or in any case w hen liquid is heated, reduce the heat s upply.
- Don’t leave the heating elements on w ithout receptacles on the
top or with void pots and pans.
- If the surface of the hob is damaged, im mediately disconnect
the appliance from the m ains to prev ent the poss ibility of electric
shock.
- Never use a steam cleaner to clean the hob.
- This appliance hood is not designed to be used by people
(including children) w ith reduced phys ical, sens orial or mental
capacity, or w ho lack experience or know ledge about it, unless
they have had supervision or instructions on how to use the
appliance by som eone who is responsible for their safety.
- Children m ust be supervised to ensure that they do not play
with the appliance.
Main ten ance (Fig. 3)
By m eans of a scraper im mediately rem ov e any alluminium foil
bits, food spills, grease s plashes, sugar m arks and other high
sugar content food from the s urface in order to av oid dam aging
the hob.
Subs equently clean the s urface w ith som e tow el and appropriate
product, rinse w ith water and dry by means of a clean cloth.
Under no circumstance should s ponges or abrasive cloths be
used; also avoid using aggress iv e chemical detergents s uch as
oven sprays and spot removers.

Thes e Instructions are for the qualified technician, as a guide to
installation, adjustment and m aintenance, according to the law s
and standards in force. Thes e operations m ust alw ay s be carried
out w hen the appliance has been disconnected from the electric
system.
Positionin g (Fig. 4)
The fixture is especially designed for fitting into a w ork-top as
show n in the corres ponding figure. Place the supplied sealing
agent along the hob perim eter. Do not install the hob over an
oven; in case you do, make sure of the follow ing:
- the oven is equipped w ith an appropriate cooling system
- there is no w arm-air leakage from the oven tow ards the hob
- suitable air-inlets are provided as show n in the figure.

Electrical connection (Fig. 5)
Prior to carrying out the electrical connect ion, please ens ure that:

the plant characteristics are such as to follow w hat
is indicated on the matrix plate placed at the bottom
of the working area;

that the plant is fitted with an efficient earth
connection, follow ing the standards and law
provisions in force. The earth connection is
com pulsory in term s of the law .
Should there be no cable and/or plug on the equipment, use
suitable absorption m aterial for the working temperature as w ell,
as indicated on the matrix plate. Under no circumstance m ust the
cable reach a tem perature above 50°C of the room temperature.
Should a direct connection to the netw ork be required, it will be
necessary to interpose an om nipolar sw itch w ith min. aperture
betw een the 3 mm. contacts, dimensioned to bear the plate load
and it m ust follow the standards in force (the yellow/green earth
cable m ust not be interrupted by the sw itch). The plug or
om nipolar sw itch m ust be easily reached on the installed
equipment.
The m anufacturers decline any res ponsibility in the event of non-
com pliance with w hat is described above and the accident
prevention norms not being res pected and followed.
To avoid all risk, if the power cable becomes damaged, it
must only be replaced by the m anufacturer, by an authorized
service cen tre, or by a q ualified electrician.
