situations where the appliance is used at high power levels for
a prolonged period of time, the hob may switchoff one or more
of the activated zones temporarily, until the temperatures
return to the set levels. On the display corresponding to the
cooking zone which has been temporarily switched off, the
power level will be shown in alternation with a
F/c
. This will
stop flashing once the cooking zone has beenreactivated.
Key function
All functions can be blocked, to prevent children and persons
who need to be supervised from using the cooker top, by
pressing the key button (
B
).
- To activate or deactivate it, select the key button (
B
) for
about two seconds. The function is active when the indicator
(
C
) is lit up.
- If the hob is on and the key function is active, the (
A
) (
ON/
OFF
) button still functions.
- If the hob is switched off with the key function active, in
order to use the hob again, the function must be deactivated
with the button (
B
).
O.S.D. Overflow Safety Device
The hob has a safety system that switches all the plates
OFF
if there are liquids or objects on the controls area. The safety
system automatically activates followed by an acoustic signal.
Simply remove the object or liquid from the controls area
to deactivate it.
Timer
With this function you can set the time (from 1 to 99 minutes)
to automatically switch off the cooking zone selected.
Note:
The Timer can be activated simultaneously on all 3
cooking zones.
Activation:
1. Select the cooking zone (
E
) (possibly even the double and
triple zone
F
).
2. Set the required cooking level (
from 1 to 9
) with the SLIDER
(
D1
) control.
3. Press (
O
)

or
”-”,
display (

) will show

flashing, and
the plate indicator with the
timer
function active (

) will
start flashing.
4. Adjust the required time with the (

buttons.
- At the end of the programmed time, the indicator (

) will start flashing followed by an acoustic signal.
Press the relative cooking zone selection button (

) to deac-
tivate them or
(O) ”+” or ”-”
.
- If the (

keys are not pressed

after a minute
the signal is interrupted and the display (
Q
) continues flashing;
to deactivate it press the selection button (

) for the zone or

.
- If the cooking zone was the only one used at that time, after
a minute the key function (

) activates and the display (
Q
)
continues flashing. To deactivate the key function, press the
selection button (
B
) for about 2 seconds.
Note:
when the cooking time has been set, after
3/4 sec.
the
display (
Q
) goes to stand-by and the time of the zone closest
to expiry appears.
- To display the remaining cooking time of the other zones
with the Timer active, simply press the selection button (
E
)
of the relative cooking zone.
- To change the time, select the cooking zone (
E
), the indicator
(
P
) will start flashing, then use the buttons (
O
)
”+” and ”-”
to
adjust the time.
- If you want to cancel the function:
1- Select the zone.
2- Press (
O
)
”+” and ”-”
together.
Pause (W) function
This function will pause the device, keeping the cooking
programs previously set in memory. The hob can remain in
this condition for no longer than 10 minutes. Then, the hob
will switch off permanently.
Activation:
- Select the
“Pause”
(
W
) button, the corresponding
LED
(
Z
)
will start flashing and on all the displays (
E
) the segments
will start rotating anticlockwise.
Restoring the cooking phase:
1 - The cooking phase can be restored within 10 minutes.
2 - Select the
“Pause”
(
W
) button. The Pause
ON/OFF
LED
(
Z
) will switch off and cooking will continue from where it
was interrupted.
