SAFETY MEASURES

Before operating the unit, read all the instruc-
tions carefully and pay attention to the illustra-
tions.
• Before connecting the iron to the electric 

network set the power supply switch in cor-
respondence with the voltage of the electric 
network. After usage of the iron with net-
work voltage 110 V always set the switch to 
the 220 V position, it will prevent malfunc-
tion of the iron while connecting the iron to 
the electric network with the increased volt-
age.

• Do not connect the iron to the outlets, in-

tended for electric shavers (in long-distance 
trains).

•  Before connecting the unit to the network, 

unwind the power cord completely.

• The power cord is equipped with a euro 

plug; connect it to the socket with a secure 
grounding. 

• In order to avoid risk of fire do not use 

adapters while connecting the appliance to 
the outlet.

•  In order to avoid overloading of the electric 

network, do not switch on simultaneously 
several appliances with high power con-
sumption.

•  Use the iron only for the intended purposes, 

specified in this manual.

•  Do not use the unit outdoors.
•  Place the iron on a flat stable surface or use 

the ironing board.

•  Never leave the operating unit unattended.
•  Always unplug the unit, if you do not use it.
•  Always unplug the unit when filling the water 

tank with water.

•  The water tank lid should be closed during 

the ironing.  

• Do not fill the water tank with scented liq-

uids, vinegar, starch solution, descaling 
reagents, chemical agents etc.

•  Provide that open parts of your skin do not 

contact hot surfaces or outgoing steam of 
the iron in order to avoid getting burns.

•  Provide that the power cord is not hanging 

over the edge of the ironing board and make 
sure that it does not touch hot surfaces.

• Before plugging/unplugging the unit, set 

the temperature control to the “min” posi-
tion, and the constant steam supply control 
to the “ ” position (steam supply is off).

•  To unplug the unit always take the plug, do 

not pull the power cord.

•  In order to avoid electric shock, do not im-

merse the unit into water or other liquids.

• Before taking the unit away for keeping, 

pour out the remaining water and let the unit 
cool down.

•  Do not use the unit, if the plug or the power 

cord is damaged or if there are other dam-
ages in the unit.

•  Never use the unit after it fell down, if there 

are visible damages in the unit or in case of 
water leakage.

• In order to avoid electric shock do not re-

pair the unit by yourself; if there are some 
damages in the unit, apply to the authorized 
service center.

•  Never allow children to use the unit as a toy.
• Keep the unit out of reach of children and 

disabled persons. Do not allow them to use 
the unit without supervision.

•  This unit is not intended for usage by chil-

dren or disabled persons unless the per-
son who is responsible for their safety gave 
them all the necessary instructions on safe-
ty measures and information about danger, 
which can be caused by improper usage of 
the unit.

•  Keep the unit vertically in a dry cool place, 

out of reach of children.

•  A travelling iron will help to put your things
