15. Problemen opsporen
PROBLEM
POSSIBLE CAUSE
SOLUTION
The engine will not
start
1. No spark
Inspect the spark. Dismount the sparking plug,
put the sparking plug cover on the sparking plug
and place the sparking plug on the metal
cylinder. Pull the starting cord and see if any
sparks appear from the tip of the sparking plug.
If there are no sparks you shall repeat this test
with a new sparking plug.
2. No fuel
Push the prime bolt. If the problems continue
you must contact your dealer.
3. Drowned engine
Dismount the sparking plug and turn the trimmer
around, so that the sparking plug hole turns
against the ground. Move the choke to “Run”
and pull the starting cord 10 to 15 times. Clean
the sparking plug and put it back in its place. If
necessary replace. Pull the starting cord three
times with the choke on the ”Run” position. If the
engine does not start turn the choke to the
“choke” position and proceed with normal
starting procedure. If the engine still does not
start, repeat the procedure with new sparking
plug.
4. You have to pull the starting
cord harder.

Remove the cord from the spool and rewind.
5. The revolutions of the engines
are too slow
Feed the cord by full power.
Grass is entangled
