GENERAL SAFETY RULES 

WARNING:  Read  and  understand  all  warnings  and  instructions. 

Failure  to  follow  the

This tool is not designed for use by persons (including children) with physical, sensory or mental 
disabilities, or with insufficient experience and/or knowledge, unless they are supervised by a person 
responsible for their safety, or have received instructions on how to use the tool by this person. 



Work Area Safety

1. Keep your work area clean and well lit.

Cluttered benches and dark areas invite

accidents.

2. Do  not  operate  power  tools  in  explosiveatmospheres,  such  as  in  the

presence offlammable liquids, gases, or dust. 

Powertools create sparks which

may ignite the dustor fumes.

3. Keep  bystanders,  children,  and  visitorsaway  while  operating  a  power  tool.

Distractionscan cause you to lose control.



Electrical Safety

4. A  battery  operated  tool  with  integral  batteriesor  a  separate  battery  pack

must  berecharged  only  with  the  specified  charge. 

A  charger  that  may  be

suitablefor one type of battery may create a riskof fire when used with another
battery.

5.Do not expose power tools to rain or wet conditions. 

Water entering a power

tool will increase the risk of electricshock.

6. Use battery operated tool only with specificallydesignated battery pack. 

Use

of anyother batteries may create a risk of fire.



Personal Safety

7. Stay  alert,  watch  what  you  are  doing,  anduse  common  sense  when

operating apower tool. 

Do not use tools while tired orunder the influence  of

drugs,  alcohol,  ormedication.  A  moment  of  inattention  whileoperating  power
tools may result in seriouspersonal injury.

8. Dress  properly. 

Do  not  wear  loose  clothingor  jewelry.  Contain  long  hair.

Keepyour  hair,  clothing,  and  gloves  away  frommoving  parts.  Loose  clothes,
jewelry, or longhair can be caught in moving parts.

9. Avoid  accidental  starting. 

Be  sure  switchis  in  the  locked  or  off  position

beforeinserting  battery  pack.  Carrying  tools  withyour  finger  on  the  switch  or
inserting the batterypack into a tool with the switch on invitesaccidents.
