6. Make sure the speed position is on OFF when you lift up the upper housing cover (4) by turning the small 
knob (7) clockwise. 
7. Then you can remove the mixing bowl (11) from the device plate. 

The Stand Mixer features Planetary Mixing Action, a similar mixing action used by commercial mixers in 
bakeries and patisseries for 360 degree beater-to-bowl coverage. This is achieved by the counter-
clockwise motion of the mixer head combined with the clockwise sweep of the beater. The result is 
thoroughly mixed ingredients without the need for a rotating bowl.

To mix or knead dough:

1.  Suggestion flour and water at a ratio of 2  3. 
2.  From speed 1 for mix 20 second, and speed 2 for mix 20 second, afterwards speed 3 for about 3 minutes. 
3.  When filling the mixing bowl, please ensure that the maximum quality is not exceeded. 
4.  The maximum amount of preparations is 0.7 for the SM-X5 and SL-B5 and 1.5 for the SEM7 and SL-B7. 
5.  The dough beater or mixer beater should be used. 
6.  Do not use the dough blade longer than 20 seconds continuously at speed level 1 or 2 and not longer than 4 

minutes continuously at speed level 3. 

7.  Use: no more than 30 minutes for each continuous operating cycle for the SEM7 and SL-B7, and no more 

than 20 minutes for each continuous operating cycle for the SM-X5 and SL-B5. 

Whipping egg whites or cream:

1.  Switch on speed 7 to speed 9, whip the egg whites without stopping for about 5 minutes, according to the 

size of the eggs, until stiff. 

2.  Maximum quantity 24 eggs. 
3.  For whipped cream, whip 250ml fresh cream at speed 7 to 9 for about 5 minutes. 
4.  When filling the mixing bowl with fresh milk, cream or other ingredients, please ensure that the maximum 

quantity is not exceeded. 

5.  The egg beater should be used. 
6.  Use No longer than 4 minutes continuously at a time. 

Mixing shakes, cocktails or other liquids:

1.  Mix the ingredients according to the available recipe, from speed 1 to 9 for about 4 minutes. 
2.  Do not exceed the maximum quantity for the mixing bowl. 
3.  The mixer beater should be used. 
4.  Use No longer than 4 minutes continuously at a time.

Place the foodstuff you wish to process into the glass jar.Put the lid on the glass jar and close securely. Place 
the measuring cup into the hole in the lid and turn clockwise to lock. 

Speed setting          use 
“6-7 “setting             for light usage with liquids 

“8-9” setting             for more solid consistency – for mixing liquids and solid foodstuffs 

“P” setting               for ice crushing & short, powerful impulse movements                    

(The switch does not permanently engage in the “P” setting. You have to hold the switch in the “P” setting or 
turn it repeatedly into the “P” setting). 
After using the blender, always move the switch into the ”OFF” setting and pull out the mains plug.
