ImPORTANT:
1. Turn off the appliance irst before disconnecting from pow

er supply.
2. Be sure to unplug the unit before cleaning or servicing.
3. Do not use gasoline, thinner or other chemicals to clean
the unit.
4. Do not wash the unit directly under a tap or using a hose.
The electrical cause danger.
5. If the power cord is damaged, it should be repaired by
manufacture or its agency.
AIR FILTER
Clean the air ilter at least once every two weeks to
prevent inferior fan operation because of dust.
Removal
Pull out the ilter cover and remove the air ilter
from the ilter cover (see Fig. 16).
Cleaning
Wash the air ilter by immersing it gently in warm
water (about 40°C/104°F) with a neutral deter
-
gent. Rinse the ilter and dry it in a shady place.
mounting
Attach the air ilter to the ilter cover using the attachment hooks on the in
-
ner surface of the cover. Put the ilter cover back to the unit.
uNIT ENCLOsuRE
Use a lint-free cloth soaked with neutral detergent to
clean the unit enclosure. Finished by a dry clean cloth.
POWER CORD AND PLug
• Press the locking lever above the power cord cover
downwards, the cover will be opened (see Fig. 17).
• Keep the power cord and plug tidy by rolled up and
stored behind the cover when not used for a long
time.
Note:
For some models, the power cord and plug can not be stored behind the
cover and directly exposed outside because of equipping with different
types of wire and plug.
uNIT IDLE FOR A LONg TImE
• When you plan to leave this unit unused for
a long time, remove the water tank and
you will ind a section of hose beside the
continuous drain hose, which is plugged
at the end.
• Release the band and remove the plug
from the end of the hose, all the water
in the bottom tray would drain outside
through the drain hose (See Fig. 18).
• Keep the appliance running with fan only
