Do not attempt to repair the unit. Do not disas-
semble the unit by yourself, if any malfunction 
is  detected  or  after  it  was  dropped,  unplug 
the  unit  and  apply  to  any  authorized  service 
center  from  the  contact  address  list  given  in 
the  warranty  certificate  and  on  the  website 
www.vitek.ru.

 •

Transport the unit in the original package only.

 •

Keep the unit in a dry cool place out of reach 
of children and disabled persons.

THE  UNIT  IS  INTENDED  FOR  HOUSEHOLD  USE 
ONLY,  ITS  COMMERCIAL  USAGE  AND  USAGE 
IN PRODUCTION AREAS AND WORK SPACES IS 
PROHIBITED. 

BEFORE THE FIRST USE

After  unit  transportation  or  storage  at  low 
temperature  keep  it  for  at  least  three  hours 
at room temperature before switching on.

Take the coffee maker out of the package and 
remove the packaging materials.

– 

Check  the  unit  for  damages;  do  not  use  it  in 
case of damages.

– 

Make  sure  that  operating  voltage  of  the  cof-
fee maker corresponds to the voltage of your 
mains.

– 

Before  using  the  coffee  maker  for  the  first 
time, wash all removable parts (2, 7, 15, 16, 17) 
with  warm  water  and  neutral  detergent  and 
dry them.

BEFORE USING THE UNIT

Note: - if you switched the coffee maker on and 
don’t  do  anything,  the  coffee  maker  would  be 
switched off in 30 minutes.
Before  making  coffee  wash  the  coffee  maker 
boiler.

 •

Remove  the  water  tank  (2),  fill  it  with  cold 
water up to the «MAX» mark and install it back 
to its place.

 •

Insert  the  coffee  filter  (15  or  16)  into  the 
holder (7), do not add ground coffee into the 
filter (15 or 16).

 •

Install the filter holder (7) back to its installa-
tion place. The filter holder (7) ledges should 
match the groves on the boiler, after that turn 
the filter holder (7) handle to the utmost right 
position «LOCK».

 •

Place a suitable cup on the tray grid (6).

 •

Insert the power plug into the mains socket.

 •

Switch  the  coffee  maker  on  by  pressing  the 
button  (13)  « »,  the  button  (13)  illumination 

will light up and start flashing. Wait until water 
in the boiler heats up, the button (13) illumina-
tion will be glowing constantly.

 •

Press  the  manual  coffee/water  supply  but-
ton  (10) «

», the pump will switch on for 3 sec-

onds; after a pause the pump will be switched 
on  and  the  water  will  be  supplied  constantly. 
After  the  cup  is  filled  with  water,  switch  the 
water  supply  off  by  pressing  the  button  (10)  
«

» again, pour the water out of the cup.

 •

Depending  on  the  cup  capacity  repeat  this 
procedure  several  times  until  the  boiler  is 
clean.

AT TENTION!

– 

Do not remove the filter holder (7) during cof-
fee maker operation.

– 

To  remove  the  filter  holder  (7)  turn  the  filter 
holder  handle  to  the  left  until  bumping  and 
remove the holder (7).

Rinsing the cappuccinator pipe (4)

 •

Make  sure  that  there  is  enough  water  in  the 
water tank (2).

 •

Place  a  suitable  cup  under  the  cappuccina-
tor pipe (4).

 •

Switch  the  coffee  maker  on  by  pressing  the 
button (13) « ».

 •

Press  the  steam  supply  on  button  (9)  « » 
and wait until the button (9) illumination stops 
flashing and glows constantly.

 •

Slowly turn the steam supply control knob (3) 
«OFF---  +»,  steam  will  start  going  out  from 
the  cappuccinator  pipe  (4)  tip  (5),  be  care-
ful while operating with outgoing steam, after 
10-15 seconds set the control knob (3) to the 
position «OFF».

 •

Switch  the  coffee  maker  off  by  pressing  the 
button (13) « ».

 •

Remove the tray grid (6), remove the tray and 
pour the water out of it, install the tray an the 
grid (6) back to their places.

 •

The coffee maker is ready for operation.

MAKING ESPRESSO

 •

Remove  the  water  tank  (2),  fill  it  with  cold 
water up to the «MAX» mark and install it back 
to its place. Make sure that the water level in 
the tank (2) is not below the mark «MIN», reg-
ularly add water to the tank (2).

 •

Put ground coffee in the filter (15 or 16) using 
the  measuring  spoon  (17),  slightly  tamp  the 
coffee  with  the  back  side  of  the  measuring 
spoon (17).
