4.9 Emptying the drip tray and coffee grounds container
When the drip tray
and the coffee grounds container
are full, the
appliance requests you to empty them. The projecting float
cates that the drip tray is full. Always empty both containers.

1. Pull the drip tray
forwards out of the appliance.
2. Remove the coffee grounds container
and empty it.
3. Empty the drip tray.
4. Insert the coffee grounds container.
5. Push the drip tray into the appliance to stop.
Information
The appliance requests you to empty the drip tray and the coffee grounds
container after a defined number of beverages have been dispensed. If
you empty the containers whilst the appliance is switched off, it does not
register this process. It may therefore occur that you are requested to empty
the containers even though the drip tray and the coffee grounds container
are still full.
