Moaning machinery sound that
lasts for approx. 20 ~ 30 sec.
This is the sound of refrigerant flowing. (Including “crackling”, “ticking” and “buzzing” sounds)
Noise will be heard when opening the doors as the compartment temperature changes and the parts creak. The
same noise can also be heard when the compartments are being cooled as the compartment temperature changes.
“Bubbling” “hissing”
This is the sound of the automatic ice maker releasing ice or supplying water.
Even while the water tank is empty, you may hear the sound sometime.
The refrigerator makes a banging/
bumping noise when opening the doors.
The following symptoms are not malfunction
“Hissing” “Vibrating” etc.

In order to effectively control the cold air and cooling system, fan motor
and compressor has been operating while changing the rotational speed,
the sound will also change. It will be larger in high-speed rotation (as following).

Room temperature is high

Immediately after the end of defrosting operation (about once a day).

Operating in Express freezing, Express ice making and Hot food freezing.

Check the following points
before calling for repair.
Leaving the freezer compartment with "Max" setting may also cause the refrigerator compartment
temperature to also become low. In this case, set the refrigerator compartment setting to "Min".
Is the ambient temperature high?
Is the warm air heating equipment etc.
blowing toward the refrigerator directly?
Move refrigerator away from the heat source
and reinstall in a place away from direct
sunlight and in a well-ventilated and cool location.
[Especially reduced cooling power when it is hot day. ]
Space is required for radiating heat.
Did you store hot food?
Is there excessive storage of food?
Is the intake port/discharge ports blocked?
Store the food after they get cold.
Open the discharge and intake ports.
Is there space around the refrigerator?
Are the doors being frequently opened?
Are doors half open from bags of food
products, etc. being caught in between?
Do not open the doors as much
as possible.
Do the doors become unable to be fully
closed due to some food fallen in the
back of the Freezer compartment?
Take off the Freezer Case and
remove the food.
Is it set to the Energy saving?
Cancel the Energy saving.
The freezing performance of the freezer compartment (upper) is two star ( ).
Use the freezer compartment (lower) when you store the food for a long time or
something like ice cream.
This is the operating sound from fan motor and damper opening/ closing. (Electric door to adjust
cooling air amount adjustment to refrigerator compartment) In addition, the sound from fan
motor for ion ejection may be heard during Plasmacluster operation.
