    8.2.  CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE OF THE FILTERS 

STAINLESS LABYRINTH FILTERS

This type of filter is removed in different manners according to the model or version, consult the installation 
manual that came with the hood.

It can be cleaned by hand or in a dishwasher 

in the same manner as the mesh filters, see detailed procedure 

and warnings on page 89 of the manual.

According to usage, the filter must be cleaned regularly, at least once every 2 months and depending on the 
version,  if  it  has  an  oil  collection  tray,  check  it  regularly  and  empty  and  clean  before  it  overflows  (optional 
depending on versions).

TRAY TO COLLECT OIL (Optional, depending on model and version

) 

The hood must be disconnected from the mains before carrying out maintenance or cleaning,

There are different systems or ways to remove the tray or tank according to model and version, as detailed 
in the attached installation manual. First remove the filters, with one hand hold the tank to avoid accidents or 
spills and with the other remove the securing screws or if it is secured by magnets, pull to remove.

Check the container for collecting grease an oil regularly, cleaning frequency will depend on usage, at least 
once every 2 months.
