IMPROPER ASSEMBLY

Make sure that the water heater is operable passing water flow through it. 
Check  tightness  of  all  connections  and,  if  necessary,  tighten  nuts  and 
mounting screws including screws in flanges of the heating vessel.

NOTE

:

Before installation of the water heater, flush water pipes with flowing 

water.

ATTENTION

!

It is prohibited to use the water heater without reliable grounding.

Connection to electric mains

1. The power cord is led in through the side face of the appliance.It is pro-
hibited to use a plug socket for connection of the water heater to the elec-
tric mains, except for WHN-4 OS, WHP-4 OS models.
2. The water heater shall be connected to the 220VAC electric mains with a 
three-core  copper  electric  cable  having  the  following  minimum  wire 
section:for WHN-4  OS, WHP-4  OS  models  -  3x1.5  mm2  and  a  16A  circuit 
breaker; for WHN-5 OS, WHP-5 OS models - 3x2.5 mm2 and a 25A circuit 
breaker.It  is  necessary  to  increase  wire  section,  if  the  water  heater  and 

4. For connection of power supply:
- Remove the front panel;
- Strip off insulation of the power wires to length not less than 7-10 mm and 
strip off insulation of the grounding wire to length not less than 2-2.5 mm;
- Lead the electric cable through the side face in the rear panel of the appli-
ance enclosure cutting the electric cable gland at the center with a sharp 
knife;
- Remove the clamping plate of the electric cable keeping the installation 
screws and make sure that the cable does not cross sharp edges and does 
not contact with hot surfaces;
- Connect the electric cable wires with the terminal block according to the 
appliance marking (refer to Fig.6);
- Make  sure that all clamping screws of the terminal block are secured.A 
loose connection may result in heating of wires;
- Install the clamping plate of the electric cable to the main position using 
the installation screws and make sure that the power cord cannot be re-
moved;
-  Check  connection  tightness  of  all  internal  electric  contacts  including 
removable  contact  groups  and  bolt  contact  connections  on  heating 
elements.If there are loose connections, they shall be fixed and tightened;
- Install the front panel.

ATTENTION

!

When the water heater is operated in particularly difficult (includ-

ing obsolete) water pipeline systems with a large quantity of sus-

pended  particles  and  impurities  in  flowing  water,  application  of 

purification filters at the inlet of the water heater is OBLIGATORY.

Use  this  recommendation;  otherwise,  non-fulfilment  of  this  item  may 
affect  service  life  of  the  product  and  warranty  service  conditions  (up  to 
refusal of warranty liabilities by the product manufacturer and manufac-
turer's service departments).

3.  The  water  heater  shall  be  connected  to  the  220VAC  power  supply 
source permanently (except for WHN-4 OS, WHP-4 OS) with obligatory 
connection to the electric grounding loop. Make sure that resistance of 
the grounding loop is < 4 .
