Electrical storage water heater

CAUTION!

If these actions do not give a positive result or the thermal switch trips 

on repeated occasions for a short period of time, then switch of the 
water heater, shut of water feeding to the water heater, and contact the 

authorized service center of Hyundai in your region for consultation or 
repair of the product.

If a drain valve and a tee are not provided (refer to “Water supply network connection”), you can 
drain water through the combined check valve / pressure safety valve. For that, unscrew the 
screw of the drain lever on the combined check valve / pressure safety valve and place the drain 
lever to the top position. At that, the hot water outlet valve shall be opened, while the cold water 
inlet valve of the water heater shall be closed.

Please carry out test checks of the pressure safety valve for operability every 14 days as follows:
- place the drain lever to the top position until you feel transition of thread and then water will 

low from the valve port. Ater you have conirmed that water lows out, return the lever to the 

previous position.

Wipe the outer surfaces of the water heater with a moist cloth and soap as necessary.

CAUTION!

Never drain water, if its temperature exceeds 50°C, since it may result in 
burns.

CAUTION!

If water does not low, this means that the valve is faulty. In this case, the 

water heater shall not be used and we recommend you to call a specialist 
of the service center.
