IMPORTANT
1. Do not use the fan if the power cord is damaged. If the power chord is
damaged it must be replaced by an authorized service agent or other
qualified person.
2. Never insert fingers, pencils or any other object through the guard
when the fan is running.
3. Unplug the fan from the power socket when moving it from one loca-
tion to another.
4. Unplug the fan from the power socket when removing the guard for
cleaning.
5. Ensure the fan is standing on a stable surface before operating.
6. Do not place the fan close to an open window. Rain splashing on the fan
could cause an electric shock hazard.
7. Completely assemble the fan before switching the fan on.
8. Do not use the fan with a solid state speed control device.
1. Ensure that the fan is unplugged from the power socket before com-
mencing cleaning.
2. To disassemble each part, reverse the order of assembly.
3. Plastic parts should be cleaned with a mild soap (detergent) and a damp
cloth or sponge. Ensure that all traces of the soap film are removed with
the damp cloth or sponge.
4. Care should be taken to ensure that water (or other liquid) does not
enter the motor housing or switch mechanism.
5. Do not use spray cleaners.
