Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by 

unsupervised children.

11. Use and store the device on a flat, stable surface. When you 

place the device on a stand, check that the surface on which 

it is standing is flat. 

12. If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the 

manufacturer, service center or similarly qualified personnel 

in order to avoid a hazard. 

13. The iron together with the cord should be kept in a place 

inaccessible to children under the age of 8, if it is connected 

to an outlet or getting cool. 

SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS 

1.  To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another high 

wattage appliance on the same circuit. 

2.  If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, a 10-ampere 

cord should be used. Cords rated for less amperage may 

overheat. Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it 

cannot be pulled or tripped over.

 immerse the iron, cable or plug in any liquid.

 leave the hot iron touching fabrics or very

Disconnect the plug from the mains when the appliance is 

not being used.

 touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.

 use the power cord or the appliance in order to 

pull the plug out of the socket.
