ELECTRIC FAN HEATER
Dear Buyer!
We congratulate you on having
bought the device under trade
name “Saturn”. We are sure that
our devices will become faithful
and reliable assistance in your
housekeeping.
Avoid
extreme
temperature
changes.
Rapid
temperature
change (e.g. when the unit is
moved from freezing temperature
to a warm room) may cause con-
densation inside the unit and a
malfunction when it is switched
on. In this case leave the unit at
room temperature for at least 1.5
hours before switching it on.If the
unit has been in transit, leave it
indoors for at least 1.5 hours be-
fore starting operation.
When switched on for the first time a
slight odour might be emitted for a few
minutes. This is harmless and occurs
with most heaters when any slight trac-
es of dust or lubricants that may have
collected in the factory are heated away.
PRECAUTIONS:
Please do not place this heater
where children, the infirm or pets can
reach it.
The front grid gets very hot
when in use, so treat this heater as you
would an electric bar fire.
Warning: In order to avoid
overheating do not cover the heater and
make sure that there is at least 12 inch-
es of clearance behind it so that the air
intakes are not obstructed.
Never use the heater near a
bath, shower or swimming pool.
Ensure that no object of any
kind is within two meters of the heater
when it is use.
Never use the heater near any
inflammable material. It must not be
put near or in contact with any FUEL,
OIL GAS or EXPLOSIVES.
Do not use it outdoors.
Do not position it directly below
a power socket.
Always position it on a flat hor-
izontal surface.
Never move or pick up the
heater when it is turned on.
Service life -2 years.
Caution:
In order to avoid a hazard due to inad-
vertent resetting of the thermal cutout,
this appliance must not be supplied
through an external switching device,
such as a timer or connected to a circuit
that is regularly switched on and off by
the utility .
FUNCTIONS:
“O” OFF
“X” Fan only, no heat.
“I” Low heat
“II” Full heat
THERMOSTAT:
Turn clockwise to increase the heat out-
put.
OPERATION:
Plug the heater into a suitable
power outlet [observing all the instruc-
tions regarding positioning] and switch
on.
To use the fan only function:
Turn the rotary switch to “X”.
The fan will blow out air at room tem-
perature.
To use the machine for heat-
ing:
Turn the rotary switch to “I” for
low heat and “II” for full heat
Set the level of heat by turning
the thermostat dial gradually clockwise
for the lowest heat and fully clockwise
for maximum.
The thermostat will turn the
machine off when the selected room
heating is achieved, and when the tem-
perature drops it will turn on again au-
tomatically.
For maximum heat output use
“II” with the thermostat turned fully
clockwise.
To distribute heat evenly
around a room, switch on the oscillation
function.
OVERHEATING:
The thermostat will turn the
machine off if it overheats.
Overheating can be caused by
obstruction to the air intakes on the
back of the machine or the grill on the
front. If this occurs please disconnect
the machine then and allow it to cool for
30 minutes. Remove any obstruction
and turn the machine back on.
If the heater ceases to func-
tion, the most likely cause is that a no-
self-resetting thermal cut-out operates
which could be reset by disconnection of
the supply mains. If there is still no
function please contact authorized ser-
vice center.
CLEANING AND CARE
There are no parts inside the
machine that require your attention or
servicing. Do not try to open the outer
