Recommendations on dehydration:

1. 

Deep trays can be used to prepare products that need 

to be cut in big pieces. For example, meat for jerky or 

watermelon. 

2. 

For a fast drying of the ingredients, set the maximum 

temperature. To preserve useful properties of the 

ingredients set the temperature below 48

 o

C. 

3. 

Use tight trays to dry small ingredients.

POSSIBLE PROBLEMS AND SOLUTIONS

•  Motor stopped.

•  

 Immediately turn off the device and remove pieces of food 

that could have stuck in the motor. To do this, turn the base 

of the dehydrator and shake it several times. If the fan does 

not turn on, contact a service center. If liquids are spilled into 

the base of the dehydrator, unplug the device and contact a 

service center to replace the motor unit.

Products dry slow

•  Trays are filled, or are installed 

incorrectly or are damaged.  

•   Unload the trays, check if they are installed correctly, replace 

damaged once with new. If there are 4 trays installed change 

them in the process of dehydration.

Uneven drying of the 

products

•   Products or pieces have an 

unequal size.

•   Perhaps air flow is blocked.

•  Cut the products into equal pieces and place them evenly.

•  Do not block the air openings with products.

Fan noise 

•   Perhaps pieces of food stuck 

in the fan. 

•  Fan is defective. 

•   Immediately turn off the device and remove pieces of food. To 

do this, turn the base of the dehydrator and shake it several 

times. If the fan still makes noise, contact a service center.

•  Contact a service center.

Warranty obligations OURSSON AG shall not apply to the 

following products, if their replacement is assumed and is 

not connected with disassembling products:

•  Batteries.

• 

Cases, straps, cords for carrying, mounting acces

sories, tools, documentation that came with the product.

5.  Warranty does not cover defects caused due to violations 

of the rules of consumer use, storage or transportation of 

the goods, actions of third parties or force majeure, includ-

ing but not limited to the following cases:

•  If the defect was a result of careless handling, used for 

other purposes, violations of conditions and rules of op

eration set forth in the instruction manual, including as 

a result of exposure to high or low temperatures, high 

humidity or dust, traces of opening the device indepen
