To avoid acoustic interference by the
ringer, you can activate the trembler
instead. It can also be active in addi-
tion to the ringer (e.g. in noisy envi-
ronments). The trembler is deactivat-
ed when the phone is inserted into
the desktop charger or into the
Car Kit.
Only calls from numbers that are in
the Phonebook are signalled audibly
or by the trembler. Any other calls
are merely displayed.
If you do not accept these calls they
are diverted to your mailbox (if set,
(p. 40)).
