If your vacuum cleaner is on a slop-
ing surface, e.g. a ramp,
– Retract the telescopic suction tube
fully
– Do not use the park system if your
vacuum cleaner has an EasyLock
suction tube.

Park system for storage (Fig. 21 + 22)



Risk of electric shock from mains

voltage.
The mains voltage is applied to the
appliance even if it is switched off.
After use, switch the appliance off at
the wall socket and unplug it.



Stand the vacuum cleaner upright.

If your vacuum cleaner has a tele-
scopic suction tube, retract the tubes
fully so that it takes up less room for
storage.



Slot the floorhead downwards into
the parking attachment.

If your vacuum cleaner has an Easy-
Lock suction tube, you can detach this
so that the vacuum cleaner requires
less storage space.



Press the release catch on the lower
suction tube section and pull the top
section out.



Push the connection piece attached
to the upper suction tube into the
lower suction tube.

Maintenance

The Miele filtration system consists of 3
accessories:

- Original Miele dustbag (type 

GN

)

- Motor protection filter

- Original Miele exhaust filter

These accessories will need to be re-
placed from time to time to ensure that
your vacuum cleaner performs effi-
ciently.

We recommend using only genuine
Miele accessories bearing the “ORI-
GINAL Miele” logo on the packaging.
Only these will guarantee the optimum
performance of your vacuum cleaner
and the best possible cleaning results.

Dustbags with the “ORIGINAL Miele”
logo on the packaging are not made
from paper or paper-based materials
and nor do they have a cardboard col-
lar. This is why Miele dustbags are
particularly long-lasting and reliable.

Please note that faults and damage
caused by use of accessories which
do not bear the “ORIGINAL Miele”
logo on the packaging are not covered
by the vacuum cleaner warranty.
