Residual current device
WARNING!
In order to protect against electric shock, devices with electric heating can be equipped with an
RCD with a leakage current of 100-300 mA.
If the device is connected to the network through a residual current device (RCD), operating
according to the leakage current, and when it is turned on, it trips, this may occur due to
moisture in the insulation of the heating elements. This is usually the result of long storage in wet
conditions. This cannot be considered as a malfunction and is eliminated by temporarily turning
on the device without an RCD. Drying can take from several hours to several days. In order to
avoid moisture accumulation during long breaks in operation, it is recommended to periodically
turn on the device for a short period time.
ATTENTION!
The electrical outlet must be enough for rated current of at least 10A (for models up to 2000W),
and at least 16A (for models with power higher than 3000 W).
