Thermal disinfection

The boiler is periodically heated up to approx. 70 °C 
during thermal disinfection. If “thermal disinfec

-

tion” is switched on and the pump detects this due 
to a temperature increase above 68 °C, it will run for 
2 hours continuously, regardless of the time 
switching function and will only switch off again 
after this period.

Factory setting:
Thermal disinfection switched off (off).

Power failure protection

In the event of a power failure, the current time is 

maintained for up to 12 hours.

Upon initial commissioning, this is only guaran

-

teed after 24 hours of operation.

The other settings are not affected by a power 

failure.

NOTICE: 

The time switching function and 

temperature control can be used simultane

-

ously. Time switching has priority. If both func

-

tions are active, there is no temperature control 
during the switch-off period.

NOTICE: 

A learning phase starts after ther

-

mal disinfection is activated.
During this phase, the pump is switched on 
for 10 minutes, every 20 minutes. If there is an 
increase in temperature, the time is logged and 
the pump runs until the next temperature 
increase. The time interval of both of these tem

-

perature increases is logged as the frequency for 
the thermal disinfection.
Changes to the times are detected automatically.
