Normal operation

The microwave oven causes 

Static interference in television and radio signals may occur while the oven is

The backlight is very dim

If the microwave is set to a low power level, then the backlight may be dim.

During the cooking process, steam may come from the food you are cooking.

Description of malfunction

The oven will not turn on

The oven does not heat 

During operation, the glass
tray makes strange noises 

Method of elimination

Remove the plug from the outlet.  After 10
seconds, insert the plug back into the out
let.
Try plugging another electrical device into
the same outlet to verify the problem
Close the door firmly 

Remove the glass tray and rolling ring.
Clean the rolling ring and the cooking
chamber floor.

Possible reason 

The power plug is not securely con
nected to the electrical outlet. 

Problem with electrical outlet

The door is not firmly closed

The rolling ring or oven floor is dirty
