Auto weight defrost
The Auto Weight defrost function enables you to defrost food according to its
weight. Simply press the “MICRO” button until you reach the defrost function and
with the time select buttons “10 sec” and “1 min” select the weight of food. “10 sec”
button is weight in steps of 0,1 kg, “1 min” button is in steps of 1 kg.
Maximum allowed weight is 2 kg.
After selecting the weight of frosted food, press “START” and the oven will select
the time of defrosting by itself.
Special note
Foods of uneven shape such as chicken and certain cuts of meat and fish will
defrost unevenly. With these foods we suggest check - frequently to ensure that
the outer edges are not cooking before the centre of the food is defrosted. If the
outer edges of the food begin to cook before the food is fully defrosted, use small
pieces of aluminium foil to cover these area's, always ensuring that the foil is at
least 20 mm from the internal walls of the oven.
Grill
The grill function enables you to grill foods to get the yellow crispy crust (chicken,
etc). The grill is situated on the top of the cavity of the microwave oven. When first
using the Grill function the oven may smoke slightly and give of an unpleasant
odor, this is normal and will disappear after a short time.
To reach the grill function press “MICRO” button seven times. Set the time of
grilling and press “START”.
Example: To grill food for 20 minutes on full power
1. Press “MICRO” seven times to reach the grill function.
2. Set cooking time to "20.00" minutes using Time select buttons (press “10 min”
twice).
3. Press “START” and the unit will commence grilling and automatically switch off
when cooking time ends.
When using the grill only the microwave function does not operate.
